Easter is, I think, a far less stressful holiday than Christmas. Expectations are not as high, and food traditions are not as rigid. And with the Easter holiday period extending over a few days, spreading the feasting out is much easier. That’s not to say that there aren’t traditional foods associated with Easter; there are in many cultures, but more often, they are individual dishes rather than an entire meal.
