Fingers and toes are crossed for your flower garden Julia🤞but I’m sure they’ll be wonderful! If you end up with more cabbages than planned (!) could you add sauerkraut at your stall?
Thank you for the loaf recipe - it sounds and looks delicious.
I hadn’t thought about selling sauerkraut - good idea, although I’m going to need a few practice runs. Looks like all of those cabbages might come in handy!
Always a kick to read about what’s in season and what you’re making in a season that’s opposite to ours, Julia! The savory loaf sounds delicious—I’ve never come across anything like it! From what I can tell, you are never idle! 😀
It is always a little strange to think of you sweltering and eating summery things when we’re trying to keep warm. The savoury loaf is so versatile - I hope you get a chance to try it.

I hope so!
Ooh, second the sauerkraut! I make mine in an old crock I bought in Germany. My favorite variation is Hawaiian Sauerkraut! I would buy it! 😉
I might need to get some sauerkraut tips from you!

Loaf sounds yummy
Thanks, Jolene. It’s good to have a savoury bake occasionally!
